ADEC Preview Solutions: Bronze Sponsor at HIMAA 31st Annual National Conference

Darwin, Australia—ADEC Preview Solutions joined the 31st Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA) Annual National Conference last October 7-9 at the Double Tree by Hilton Esplanade, Darwin, Northern Territory in Australia. The event was co-organised by the University of Sydney’s National Centre for Classification in Health (NCCH).

Since 1949, HIMAA has been the certified organisation that regulates health information management systems and professionals in Australia. HIMAA recognises the crucial role of Health Information Managers (HIMs), Clinical Coders (CCs), and other healthcare experts associated with the management and use of health information. These professionals are key players in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of patient records and patient care systems.

As an exhibitor and sponsor at this event, ADEC Preview showcased several client case studies to demonstrate how document scanning has assisted HIMs and Records Departments with the digitisation of various medical records. ADEC Preview’s document scanning and imaging capabilities helps streamline and simplify the operations of businesses and organisations.

Delegates from around Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the Pacific learned about the latest trends in best healthcare practices and eHealth initiatives. With HIMAA and NCCH teaming up for this conference, they were able to discuss a number of urgent matters in the healthcare information system from clinical coding to data governance, financial management to performance reporting, eHealth standards to workforce challenges, and quality and safety to international classifications—all in the context of their HIM and Clinical Coding schemes.
